We went to Kenilworth yesterday to see the castle and visit my friend, Rona. We all loved the castle except Rosie who didn't seem to care one way or the other. I sat on a rampart with her and fed her baby mush while Rachel and the boys climbed to the top of the ruin. I wanted to see it as well so Adam agreed to lead me up there as long as we could have a race to the top. I have no problem letting him win. I would be hard pressed to keep up with him. We went to have lunch at Rona's and she gave us pasta and icecream and cake. As Charlie said on the way home, "I know she likes children because she had all the best food." We had a lovely day.

I found your blog through the 'Writing' tab on my Interests profile. What a great tool for connections. Your lovely blog posts made me homesick, by the way.
Yesterday, I posted something that I think will interest writers everywhere. I blogged about David Wolverton/Farland (nationally renowned Sci-Fi and Fantasy author—think Star Wars books) and his free daily writing lessons and tips by email.
This man is super talented, and his totally free advice is for writers of all genres, at all stages of their careers.
Hope you don’t mind me letting you know this, but I’m so impressed with David’s generosity and willingness to help improve world writing skills, that I wanted to share with as many writers as possible.
I’ve been scribbling for over 20 years and am still learning plenty.
